BOC Aviation, one of the world’s leading aircraft leasing companies, has placed an order for 70 A320neo aircraft with Airbus. With this new order, the total number of Airbus aircraft the company is awaiting delivery for has reached an all-time high in its history.
BOC Aviation CEO Steven Townend stated that with this agreement, their backlog of orders from Airbus has reached approximately 200 aircraft, and since their first order in 1996, they have taken delivery of over 700 Airbus aircraft, including both purchases and sale-and-leaseback transactions.
